4) The last Scorekeepers Clinic will be held this Sunday 11/20/05 at Rancho HS at 3:30 p.m., due to the large number of volunteers they might only be using  10th, 11th and 12th graders this year. They will meet in the classroom attached  to the girls gym closest to the cafeteria. Please let me know if you have  someone interested so I can email OCO to let them know.

5) The Anaheim gym situation has been resolved in time for the upcoming SEYO season. We will be using the following gyms Western HS, Loara HS, Savannah HS, Anaheim HS, Magnolia HS, Rancho HS, OCBC and Dale JHS. The gym schedules will be determined after the schedule meeting this upcoming Thursday night.

6) The gym schedule for this weeks practices 11/19/05 is on the WPC web site already. There will be no practices formally set-up for Thanksgiving weekend. The schedule for the month of December is still being negotiated. We are asking all parents to please be patient as the gym coordinator is doing everything possible to schedule all 22 WPC teams each week.

7) We would like to thank Jason Wright for helping us secure Fountain Valley HS and Huntington Beach HS for this past Sunday 11/13/05. Jason is a  former
NBA player who is working with children in his dribbling clinics. We are going to try and secure a WPC dribbling clinic every week at a set time and location. We will try to start these clinics on 12/3/05.

8) We would like to thank our volunteer gym commissioners this year. Rick Hashimoto (Boys Pee Wee Upper), Cynthia Masamitsu (Girls Junior Lower),  Jaime Lam (Girls Junior Upper) as well as Kent Kamada and Keith Kenmotsu as  back-ups.

9) We would also like to introduce the Yonsei Basketball program to all 8th graders this year. Applications are already on the SEYO website and are due by the end of December. This years team will travel to Kumamoto, Japan. We need to know of any WPC player interested in applying so we can go over the program in more detail next month.

10) We are collecting all gym fees for practice time for the VFW tournament. All teams must pay their $100 as soon as possible. We collected from 6 teams tonight.

11) Next meeting will be 12/12/05 at 7:30 p.m. at WPC.
